Dominic commenced his career in Financial Services in 1981 as a Registered Tax Agent and Insurance Advisor prior to providing Investment and Superannuation advice from 1984 onwards.
He was a State Councillor of the Financial Planning Association of Australia Ltd (FPA) from 1994 to 1997, and honorary treasurer of the Monash Alumni Association Inc from 1994 to 2002.
Dominic was a member of the National Practitioners’ Committee, the Towards Professionalism Task Force, won the Money Management Financial Planner of the Year in December 2000, was a Director of the FPA until November 2005, and served as a Director of the Financial Industry Complaints Service Ltd until March 2009, before the creation of the Financial Ombudsman Service Ltd
He was a Senior Advisor at Deutsche Bank Financial Planning (formally Bain & Co) between February 1988 to October 1996, and Victorian Manager of Financial Planning for HSBC James Capel from November 1996 until February 1999, when he established Collins House Financial Services Pty Ltd which held its own AFSL until 2008, as the Responsible Officer and Managing Director until he established Collins House Pty Ltd which is a Corporate Authorised representative of Charter Financial Planning Ltd .
He appears regularly on Melbourne’s Radio 3AW as the resident Financial Planning & Investment expert which he has held for more than 11 years, and was awarded Life Membership of the FPA in November 2008.

Between 2004 and 2010 she was employed as an Indepenedent Financial Advisor with Chartered Firm, Firth & Scott Financial Services Ltd where she was responsible for over 100 retiree client portfolios

Peter has been a qualified and authorised UK financial advisor since 1990.
In 1992 he set up his own independent financial services company in the North West of England.
In 2006 he relocated to Melbourne and became licenced in May of 2010, to provide advice to Australians returning home from the UK and British Nationals migrating to Australia, especially with regard to transferring their pension entitlements "downunder", under the QROPS regulations
Now a permanent resident of Australia Peter is an important member of the Collins House Private Wealth team providing local "international" expertise

Emilei commenced in Financial Services in 2004 with Strategic Financial Solutions Pty Ltd, prior to joining Collins House in 2008
At Collins House she quickly became a valuable member of the team of three Financial Advisors and one Paraplanner, specialising in providing Clients with administrative assistance in the often complex area of Investment Transactions.
She completed her B.Bus (Acc) at RMIT University in 2003 and completed her Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning) in January 2010

Biography
Con has been admitted to practice as a Barrister & Solicitor since 1995. He is admitted to practice in both the Victorian and Federal jurisdictions and is a member of the Law Institute.
Con’s Legal practice is predominantly focused on corporate, commercial, property and estate planning law, with a particular emphasis on commercial law, commercial agreements, sales and acquisitions, investment vehicles & legal structures, developments, conveyancing, leases and wills.
Examples of Con’s experience providing advice relating to the negotiation of commercial agreements, establishment of property holding entities and general investment structures, managing the legal implications and conveyancing requirements of multi-unit developments, unwinding of commercial relationships between parties to a prominent property development, leasing advice (with particular emphasis on the dynamic retail leasing sector), international supply and distribution agreements, trademark applications and general corporate governance advice, such as directors’ duties and liability, corporate constitutions, etc. Con has also advised extensively on acquisitions and disposal of business and shares in privately held companies.
In addition to his legal qualifications, Con has obtained a Masters in Business Administration (MBA). The combination of his qualifications and personal experiences in law and in management give him a flexible and fresh approach when advising clients. This allows him to understand the practical implications of the legal advice he provides to his clients and how the advice will impact on his clients and their respective requirements.

Con has held various Executive positions on a number of community and social organisations, which have brought him into contact with a variety of people. Sam commenced his Professional career in 1985 with a Public Accounting firm in Melbourne's north where he became a SeniorTaxation and Business Advisor after completing his CPA Programme in 1991
After 14 years in Public Practice Sam accepted a role as CFO and General Manager role of a CBD based Advertising and Design Firm where he became a major shareholder. In addition to growing the business he successfully negotiated the merger of the firm, and was involved in all aspects of the transaction thus ensuring a smooth transition for both the vendors and purchasers
In 2003 he accepted the position of CFO and General Manager of a privately owned Australian Engineering and Manufacturing Firm that specialised in Laser Cutting and Metal Fabrication. In addition to being responsible for all Financial and Taxation matters, Sam was actively involved in the day to day operations of the firm including driving productivity gains and improved profitability, developing and implementing a Strategic Business Plan, and finally establishing a Tax Effective Succession Plan for the owners who wanted to exit the business after 30 years
Prior to joining Collins House Accountants as Managing Director, Sam was engaged as a Senior Tax Manager in the Business Services Division of Chartered Accounting firm Smith Peacock Henshaw, to oversee the Succession Plan for one of the Senior Partners
In addition to specialising in Sucession Planning for small to medium enterprises, Sam provides hands on Taxation Advice to Executives of larger firms, as well as Administration of Self Managed Superannuation Funds

Claire joined Collins House in 2010 following her successful completion of a Masters Degree in Accounting from Swinburne University and prior to that a Bachelor of Arts from the Dalian Foreign Language University in China
In addition to providing valuable administrative assistance to members of the Collins House Group, she is responsible in part for the administration of Self Managed Superannuation Funds and preparing investment summaries for Trustees
